The 45th International Guitar Competition Francisco Tárrega was held from August 29 - September 2, 2011 at the Teatro Municipal de Benicássim.

The 45th International Guitar Competition Francisco Tárrega was held from August 29 - September 2, 2011 at the Teatro Municipal de Benicássim. The final results were:
First Place - Srdjan Bulat (Croatia)
Second Place - Andras Csáki (Hungary)
Finalist - Mircea Stefan Gogoncea (Romania)
Finalist - Marko Topchiy (Ukraine)
Srdjan Bulat was also awarded a prize for the Best Interpretation of Tárrega, and Andras Csaki received the Audience Prize. Congratulations to all!

The jury (M. Dylla, J. Eötvös, T. Offermann, J. Panetsos, O. Van Gonnissen, J. Zsapka) selected the winners of the Forum Gitarre 16th International Guitar Competition.

Forum Gitarre 16th International Guitar Competition Winners:
- 1st Prize: David Dyakov (Bulgaria)
- 2nd Prize: Eduard Leață (Romania)
- 3rd Prize: Tristan Angenend (Germany)

Forum Gitarre 14th International Youth Competition
The 14-year Zsombor Sidoo from Hungary won the Forum Gitarre 14th International Youth Competition. Zsombor Sidoo won a concert guitar, and two on-concert invitation to Vienna, one of which is at next year's "Forum Gitarre" International Guitar Festival. Zsombor Sidoo is a student of prof. Eötvös József.
