Thanks to his numerous tours all over the world and his recognition by the audience as well as by the musical critics,Costas COTSIOLIS is nowadays considered as one of the greatest guitarists of this time.He has appeared in great concert halls like the Auditorium De Madrid, Grant Auditorium Radio France, Concertgebow Amsterdam, Concert Hall BBC, Alt Opera Frankfurt, Palais de Beaux Arts Brussels, Concert Hall of Athens (Megaron),Palais de Congress (Paris), Herodium (the Acropolis Theater) etc. co-operating with great symphonic orchestras like the ones of the Broadcasting of Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, BBC, The Junge Deutsche Philarmonie, the soloists of Sofia and Belgrade, the symphonic orchestra Queen Sofia of Madrid, Cordoba, Cannes,Lithuanian, etc.

He appeared at the biggest guitar Festivals of the world like Cordoba, Liege, Canarian Islands, Tijuana, Paris, Martinique, Leverkusen, Koblenz, Havanna, GFA of the USA etc.. He worked together at concerts with great artists like John Williams, John McLaughlin, Maria Farandouri, Milva, Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Patrice Fontanarosa, Al di Meola, Larry Corryel, Jean Jacques Kantorow, Stanley Jordan, Vicente Amigo. Great guitar composers like Leo Brouwer, Ernesto Cordero, Sergio Assad, Dusan Bogdanovich, Anton Garcia Abril have dedicated their works to him.

Besides he played many premiéres of composers like Mikis Theodorakis, Theodore Antoniou, Leo Brouwer, Ernesto Cordero, Sergio Assad etc. Costas Cotsiolis has been the art director of the Volos International Guitar Festival since 1978 (since 2006

called the Naxos International Guitar Festival), where more than 9000 students as well as about 400 professors and soloist appeared from all over the world. Many fabulous guitarists started their international career as young talents at this festival.

He is professor of the Conservatory of Athens, the New Conservatory in Thessaloniki and the University of Indianapolis, Athens Campus, creating an exemplary school of excellent guitarists who have been awarded all over the world and have international career. He gave seminars abroad at great universities and music academies like the Manhattan School of Music, Weimar, Berlin, Dallas, Oslo, Mozarteum of Salzburg etc. In 1998 he became an honorary citizen of Dallas (Texas).

Russian guitarist Anton BARANOV is a prizewinner of more then fifteen prestigious international guitar competitions, including the Koblenz Guitar Competition, Andrés Segovia Competition, Agustín Barrios Competition, Robert Vidal Competition, and Pittaluga Guitar Competition. At the height of his young career, he won both the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition and the Francisco Tárrega Competition in 2013.

Known for his daring interpretation and innovative programming, guitarist and composer Roland Dyens calls him, “a real musician, one of those rare guitarists who are able to have their attendees almost forget the instrument they play, managing to have them focus on the expressivity of the music and only this.”

As part of his prize from winning the GFA competition, Mr. Baranov will embark on a 50-city concert tour throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil, and has just recorded his first album on the Naxos label. Mr. Baranov has been a D'Addario artist since 2013. He currently teaches at his alma mater, the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

Anton Baranov was born in 1984 in the Northwest region of Russia. He graduated from the famous St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in 2010 under grants from the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Performing Arts Foundation.

Mihai COJOCARU s-a născut în 1977 în Bucureşti. A studiat chitara la Liceul de muzică „George Enescu” cu Liviu Georgescu şi la Hochschule für Musik „Franz Liszt” din Weimar - Germania, cu Gerhard Reichenbach.

A beneficiat de lecții private cu Carlo Marchione și Thomas Müller-Pering și a participat în master class-uri cu Aniello Desiderio, Hubert Käppel, Zoran Dukic, Joaquin Clerch ș.a. A câştigat premii la concursuri naţionale şi internaţionale (olimpiade de muzică, Sinaia, Craiova, Bucureşti) şi a apărut în emisiuni radio şi TV.

A făcut parte ca membru în juriile concursurilor Eduard Pamfil și Sinaia și a susținut cursuri de măiestrie la București, Sinaia și Cluj. În calitate de solist, Mihai Cojocaru a cântat împreună cu filarmonicile din Satu-Mare şi Bacău, precum şi în recitaluri la Bucureşti, Arad, Cluj, Constanţa, Weimar.

Alina CIOLACU a absolvit Universitatea Naţională de Muzică Bucureşti (UNMB) – Facultatea de Interpretare Muzicală, specializarea Chitară Clasică.

Cursuri de master: Carlo Marchione, Pavel Steidl, Ioana Gandrabur, Silfredo Perez, Alfred Eickholt, Bosko Radojkovik, Gerhard Reichenbach, Joseph Urshalmi, Costas Cotsiolis, Leo Brouwer.

Olivia IANCU a absolvit Universitatea Naţională de Muzică Bucureşti (UNMB) – Facultatea de Interpretare Muzicală, specializarea Chitară Clasică, în anul 2007. În 2009 a obţinut masteratul la UNMB specializarea Stilistică Interpretativă – Muzică de Cameră, iar din 2011 este doctorandă la aceeași universitate. Începând cu anul 2008 este preparator la Universitatea din Pitești, Departamentul de Arte. A obținut burse de merit și de studiu, printre care bursa Erasmus la Hochschule für Musik „Franz Liszt” Weimar, Germania, profesor Thomas Zawierucha.

A urmat cursuri de măiestrie cu profesorii: Carlo Marchione (Italia), Costas Cotsiolis (Grecia), John Duarte (Anglia), Pavel Steidl (Olanda), Joaquin Clerch (Cuba), Josepf Urshalmi (Israel), Ioana Gandrabur (Canada), Gerhard Reichenbach (Germania), Bosko Radojkovic (Serbia), Harvey Hope (Anglia), Alexis Mouzourakis (Grecia), Susana Prieto (Spania), Thomas Müller Pering (Germania). Este laureată a olimpiadelor și festivalurilor naționale de specialitate și a susținut numeroase recitaluri.

Claudiu LOBONȚ a absolvit Universitatea Națională de Muzică București – Facultatea de Interpretare Muzicală, specializarea Chitară Clasică, în anul 2007. În 2009 a obținut masteratul la UNMB specializarea Stilistică Interpretativă – Muzică de Cameră, iar din 2012 este doctorand la aceeași universitate. A studiat elemente de Teoria Muzicii cu prof. Petre Ștefănescu. A făcut muzica/ilustrație muzicală pentru diverse proiecte culturale (teatru, film, dans, arte plastice, fotografie).

Duo-ul format din Olivia Iancu şi Claudiu Lobonţ a luat fiinţă în anul 2007, an în care cei doi au absolvit cursurile clasei de chitară a Universităţii Naționale de Muzică Bucureşti. De atunci au susţinut numeroase recitaluri, atât cu chitarele, cât şi cu instrumentele istorice lăuta şi teorba, prezentând programe variate – de la muzică veche la muzică contemporană. Lucrările cântate sunt în mare majoritate propriile trascripţii şi aranjamente.

Ani GAYDAROVA (b. 1989) began her musical studies in her hometown of Rousse, Bulgaria pursuing her bachelor degree in Solo Guitar and Academic Choir Conducting with Univ. Conf. PhD. Constantin Andrei and Univ. Conf. PhD. Ciprian Para at the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca. Amongst her achievements and distinctions we mention First Prize at the International Quitar Competition – Gotze Delchev (Bulgaria, 2002), First Prize at International Competition – Kiustendel (Bulgaria, 2005), Third Prize at International Private Quitar Competition in Sofia (Bulgaria,2009).Also over the years she conducted the ”Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Musics Choir.

Marian BĂLAN (b. 1988) started his musical training in Bistriţa continuing with classical guitar in Cluj-Napoca at the ”Sigismund Toduţă” Music Highschool. In 2011 he graduated the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca currently doing his Master in classical guitar. Over the years he carried intense artistic activities with groups such as Bigg Dimm’A Band, Hot Cluj of Cluj Napoca as well as solo.

Viorela FILIMON (b.1987) attedned and graduated the ”Alba-Iulia Music and Arts Highschool” later graduating the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca. She gained professional experience by working with teachers such as Marko Feri, Dimitar Doychinov, Susana Prieto, Alexis Muzurakis, Yaron Hassan, Mir Ali and as an Erasmus student at the Fachhochschule – Institut fur Music in Osnabruck.

Trio CLUJ started their activity two years ago with PhD. Ştefan Trifan as students at ”Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca. During this time they have also attended master classes with Adrian Mantu, Ladislau Csendes, Reinbert Evers, Sung Jin Kim having the opportunity to polish their repertoire which varies stylistically from The Renaissance to Contemporary. In 2011 they have won Second Prize at the XI edition of the Transilvania International Guitar Festival winning First Prize the following year.
