Rafael AGUIRRE MIÑARRO is an artist whose deep musical understanding and dazzling virtuosity defines him as one of the most versatile musicians of his generation. Born in Malaga in 1984, he started his musical studies at age 7, finishing with the highest marks in the Malaga Conservatory. At age 16, he did his orchestral debut performing the ‘Concierto de Aranjuez’ with the Malaga Youth Philharmonic Orchestra on a tour that included several cities across Spain and Morocco. During the course of his education, his remarkable talent allowed him to participate in master-classes with luminaries such as Joaquin Clerch, Angel romero, Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, David Russell, Alirio Diaz and Roberto Aussel.

He is the winner of 12 international first prizes in the Tarrega, Guerrero, Alhambra, Arcas, Pujol, Sor, NOrba Caesarina and Koblenz and the only guitarist to win the Schmolz and Bickenbach competition in Düsseldorf , Germany.

He recorded for RTVE (Spanish radio and television) and Naxos, being pre nominated for the Latin Grammy as "best classical album".

As an international concert artist, Rafael has had the opportunity to play in 13 countries, giving recitals in renowned venues like the Tchaikovsky hall in Moscow,

Palau de la musica in Valencia, Teatro Manuel de Falla in Cadiz, the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, the Cervantes Institute of Munich, Holsclaw hall in Tucson (Arizona) the prestigious Ubeda and Granada international Music Festivals in Spain, and the guitar festivals of Monterotondo in Rome, Hallein in Austria, and Julian Arcas in Spain with orchestras like the Malaga Philharmonic orchestra, Extremadura Symphony Orchestra, Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and Syrian National Orchestra.His next engagements include his Carnegie Hall debut in new york as well as concerts with orchestra and solo in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ireland, Peru, Washington, Columbus (Guitar Foundation of America), Boston and a tour in Germany and Spain.

Rafael Aguirre currently resides in the German city of Düsseldorf where he is teaching at the "Robert Schumann Hochschule" having before studied there under the guidance of Joaquin Clerch.

  • First prize and public prize at the 41. International Competition "Francisco Tarrega" (Benicassim, Spain, 2007)
  • First Prize at the 17.International Competition "Jacinto Guerrero " (Toledo, Spain, 2007)
  • First Prize at "Hubert Käppel" International Guitar Competition (Koblenz, Germany, 2010).

Andras CSAKI was born in Budapest 1981, and began to play the guitar at the age of 11. In 1996 he was admitted to the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music, and in the year of 2002 he continued his studies at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, where he graduated with honor in 2007. He has been awarded the "Junior Prima 2009 Prize". "Márciusi Ifjak Prize" in 2010.

He was taught by the best Hungarian guitar professors, such as József Eötvös, Ede Roth and Sándor Szilvágyi. Since 1995 András has been a regular participant of international master classes all over the world, including master classes held by Leo Brouwer, Abel Carlevaro, Costas Cotsiolis, Aniello Desiderio, Zoran Dukic, Pablo Marquez, Judicaël Perroy, David Russell, Thomas Müller-Pering, Barna Kováts and Tamás Vásáry.

András's international career started in 1999 after winning the XXVI. "Dr. Luis Sigall" International Musical Competition in Chile . This prestigious contest brought him a large number of concert opportunities, he played recitals in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Poland, Germany, Japan, Norwegen, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain, Venezuela and the United States. Since that time he has taken part in numerous international competitions. Until the year of 2009 he received 18 prizes, among others he was awarded with the first prize in the 51 st Tokyo International Guitar Competition in 2008, and in the 42 nd "Michele Pittaluga" Guitar Competition in Alessandria, Italy 2009.

András began to teach in 2005. Since September of the same year, he has been a guitar teacher at Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music, and in September 2009 he was appointed assistant professor at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest . He gave his first master classes in Dallas (USA) in 2005, since that time he has frequently been asked to give master classes in various countries, such as France, Greece, Romania and his native Hungary.

Classical guitarists Katrin KLINGEBERG & Sebastián MONTES are outstanding performers who together form the Klingeberg-Montes Guitar Duo, which has won awards in international guitar competitions.

While still at school Katrin Klingeberg was accepted as a young student at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. She later went on to study with Professor Frank Bungarten at the Hanover Superior School of Music and Theater, where she earned a pass with distinction. Since April 2007 she has continued her studies under Professor Thomas Müller-Pering at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar, Germany.

Klingeberg and Montes formed their duo in 2004 while studying in Hanover and have since performed together in Germany, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Italy, and Chile.

In 2005 Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastian Montes, together with the Reutlingen's Young Symphony Orchestra, performed the Concierto Madrigal by Joaquín Rodrigo for 2 guitars and orchestra. The audience was most impressed by their "perfect ensemble" and "gripping virtuosity" ( Reutlinger Generalanzeiger ).

In April 2008 the duo was accepted into the Master’s program in Chamber Music at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart and studied under the renowned Bulgarian Guitar Duo Kaltchev. In February 2010 Klingeberg and Montes

received their Master’s Diploma with maximum distinction and entered the Solo class at the same university.Awards:
  1. 2nd Prize at the Aschaffenburger Gitarrentage Chamber Music Competition in Ascaffenburg-Germany (2010)
  2. 1st Prize at the VII Transilvania International Guitar Festival in Cluj, Romania (2009)
  3. 1st Prize at the VII Chamber Music Competition Luys Milán in Ontinyent, Spain (2008)

Sebastian MONTES was born in Santiago de Chile in 1979. He began studying classical guitar with his father at the age of thirteen and entered the Department of Arts at the University of Chile in 1995, where he studied Classical Guitar with Professor Luis Orlandini. He completed his licentiate degree in music in 2003 with maximum distinction and received the D.A.A.D. German academic exchange service scholarship that same year, which allowed him to pursue post graduate studies in Germany at the Hannover Superior School of Music and Theater under the tutelage of Professor Frank Bungarten.

He has performed in major concert halls throughout his native Chile as well as in Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States, Sweden, Austria, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Germany.

Montes has performed extensively as a soloist, in a duo with Luis Orlandini, and as a member of the Cuarteto de Guitarras de Chile with the Symphonic Orchestras of Chile, Concepción, and Antofagasta. He has also performed with Chile's National Youth Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Chile, the University of Santiago Orchestra, and the Symphonic Orchestras of Mendoza, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Ingolstadt and Kaiserslautern, Germany; the Beiras Philharmonic Orchestra in Portugal; and the Liceo Grand Theater Orchestra in Barcelona, Spain.

In early 2005 Montes joined German guitarist Katrin Klingeberg in a duo, and the two have played together in Germany, Chile, Portugal, and Spain. In December 2005

they performed Joaquín Rodrigo's Madrigal Concert for two guitars and orchestra with the Reutlingen Junge Sinfonie.

He has earned many national and international awards, such as the Liliana Pérez Corey Award (Santiago, Chile ), Temporada del descubrimiento Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile (Santiago, Chile), Luis Sigall (Viña del Mar, Chile), Stotsemberg Guitar Competition (Los Angeles, USA), Festival Internacional de guitarra de la Habana (Havana, Cuba), Concurso Internacional de guitarra Santa María de la Harmonía (Mar del Plata, Argentina), Concurso Internacional de guitarra de Entre Ríos (Entre Ríos, Argentina) Concurso Internacional de guitarra Luys Milán (Villa de L'Ollería, Spain), and the Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Sernancelhe (Sernancelhe, Portugal), Concurso Internacional José Tomas Villa de Petrer (Alicante, Spain), Miguel Llobet International guitar competition (Barcelona, Spain).

The Hungarian guitarist Dávid Pavlovits is one of the most creative personalities of the new generation. He began to play the guitar at the age of 17. He played the guitar only three years when he has won a prize at an international guitar competition (Zory, Poland). The leading Polish daily newspaper described him as a personality "close to a genius".

He attended the guitar and composition class of the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Szeged where he studies with professor Ede Roth. He graduated at the Darmstadt Academy of Music in guitar with distinction, later he has also graduated the Gutenberg University in Mainz and the Musikhochschule in Munich. He took classes with the following masters: Tilman Hoppstock, Olaf Van Gonnissen, Walter Schumacher (guitar), Lajos Huszár, Heinz-Wieland Kurz (composition), Grigory Gruzman (piano).

Since 1993 he has been a laureate of several music competitions, such as in Zory, Poland (distinction), the 13th Esztergom International Guitar Competition (first prize), the Budapest Music Contest (second prize), International Guitar Competition of Crete, Greece (second prize) and the Viareggio Competition of Composers (distinction).

He has been teaching guitar, music theory and music history since 1996, recently he is teacher at the Faculty of Music of the University of Szeged. He has obtained Ph.D. title in 2006 at "Gh. Dima" Academy of Music (Romania). Since 1994 he has taken solo concert tours, radio and TV broadcasts in almost every countries of Europe, Latin America and the USA. He is also regularly invited to juries and master courses of international music competitions.

Antal PUSZTAI was born in Gyor, in 1978, and is said to be one of the most gifted talent of classical and - at the same time – jazz guitar as well.

He got his first guitar lessons at Pannonhalma, from his father actually. He continued his studies in Frankfurt am Main with Stephen Werner, and at the conservatory of Wien, under the guidance of Inge Scholl – Kremmel. In Hungary he was the pupil of Ede Róth, Iván Folk, Attila Reményi. He's been studying recently at the Music University of Wien, in the artist group of Alvaro Pierri.

As an artist he recieved several prizes:

  1. 1989: International Guitar award Kutna-Hora, Czechia: 1st Place
  2. 1999: Yamaha International Guitar award, Wien – Austria: 1st Place
  3. 2000: International "Attila Zoller" Guitar award, Budapest - Hungary: 1st Place
  4. 2003: Herbert von Karajan Scholarship – Austria
  5. 2004: Montreaux Jazz Guitar Award – Switzerland: 1st Place
  6. 2005: International Guitar Award, Weikersheim - Germany: 1st Place
  7. 2006: European Guitar Award, Dresden - Germany: 1st Place

Antal Pusztai is a popular and sought - after guitar artist of the classical and the jazz world at the same time, who's been playing concerts all over the world from Europe via South-Corea to Columbia.
