The ninth edition of the TRANSILVANIA International Guitar Festival will take place in Cluj-Napoca during 9-14 August 2011.
As part of the festival will be present proeminent figures of guitar.
Transilvania International Guitar Festival has four components which cover the sides of artistically education:

Regulations
Participants will send the registration form and will pay the participation fee until 25 July 2011.
Registered participants may submit changes of their repertory until 25 July 2011, by addressing the organizers.
Solo Competition: 5 age categories.
Chamber Music Competition: 2 age categories.
Prizes:
A classical guitar built special for this event by Charles Boivin, Canadian luthier valued at 4000 Euro, that will be awarded to the winner of V Category
2500 Euro total prizes - Prize sponsored by the city of Cluj-Napoca, Cluj-Napoca Municipal House of Culture and ACT.

Online Registration
Depending on the available number of rooms and the registration order, the organizers offer the accommodation for the participants and their companions at the "Apafi Mihaly" student hostel, for 8-10 Euro per night.
Depending on the available number of rooms, participants may be accommodated on 2-3 stars hotel for 25-50 Euro per night, in single, double, triple or quadruple rooms.
