Under the direction of the most impressive guitar players and teachers from Romania, like Liviu Georgescu, Eugen Mang, Stan Zamfirescu (Bucharest), the participants will spend a week of guitar. Among the camp's activities are daily lectures of Masterclass with the mentioned teachers, introduction lectures for chamber music, folk and electric guitar classes, movies and concerts with famous guitar players, camp-fire and concert of young guitarists, but also discussions with the teachers for elaborating didactic materials and curriculum.
The chamber music lectures will be held in groups of 2-4 children, and their purpose is to socialize in front of a simple and unknown score. The camp addresses to guitar players of all ages, from beginners to professional, trying to put good use in the potential of each participant but not to engage in a virtuosity contest.
At the end of the camp each student will receive a diploma signed by Transilvania Guitar Association's directors and by camp's teachers.
The participation fee is 460 RON for students and 330 RON for companions (parents or teachers) including the accommodation and meal, without active participating to classes.
Transilvania guitar Association offers the following discounts:
- 100% discount for accommodation and meal for companions (teachers) of minimum 8 students
- 50% discount for accommodation and meal for companions (teachers) of minimum 5 students
- 10% discount for the participation fee for ACT's members (with an updated subscription)
The transport expenses will be supported by the participants. The reception of the participants from abroad will be on Saturday, the 18th of August, in the morning, and during the afternoon they will be taken to Baisoara. The depart from the camp will be on Friday, the 24th of August in the afternoon, followed by the train trip to their origin cities.
The limit date for registration is Friday, the first of June; after this date the organizers cannot guarantee a reservation.
